GSK is a science-led global healthcare company. They research and develop a broad range of innovative products in three primary areas of Pharmaceuticals, Vaccines and Consumer Healthcare.

THE CHALLENGE

Our long-time client on the event side, GSK came to us with the challenge of helping to execute their national employee meeting in Toronto. Among other things, they were looking for a way to streamline and speed up the registration process, while providing each delegate with an agenda built into their name badge that was specific to them. They also wanted to track attendance at each booth. Some of their divisions also wanted to incorporate some fun engagements, one example of which was a photo booth with integrated social media sharing.

THE SOLUTION

After brainstorming, our team came up with an interactive login page where GSK employees simply had to enter their secure employee ID. Once entered, that specific employee’s name badges with itinerary was printed and placed on their lanyard. We then produce an interactive sign in solution, where conference attendees were scanned in through the QR code presented on their badge (which they received at the original sign in/printing station). The rmg brand staff kept the sign in’s consistently moving with minimal line ups, assisting GSK’s full team of 639 in only 3 hours!

The Results

The result was spectacular. Sign in was not only seamless, but exciting for employees. Numerous employees expressed that it was the easiest and fastest sign in, they have ever experienced! Our scanning software also made it simple for GSK to track employees and see which workshops they attended. We were also able to check delegate attendance during registration, and then provided client with comprehensive reports.
